Full mouth rehabilitation is for the patients who have, pretty much, a lot of teeth in trouble—in crisis mode. There are teeth who are cracked, they’re the teeth with large decays in there, and they're structurally compromised. Those are the people who need a full mouth rehab because now, it's to the point that we need to do something. Otherwise, whatever they have in their mouth can go into further destruction and it's going to be hard to fix their mouth. Full mouth rehab is indicated for the patient who has structurally broken down teeth, to the point that we need to do this as a priority. It's done on all the teeth, upper and lower. What they achieve after doing the full mouth rehab case is back to the functionality, they get their functionality back.
Restore your entire mouth
Some people have several problems that are keeping them from having the full function of their mouth. If you are one of these people, a single restorative procedure will not get you back to a fully functional smile. You need several procedures. A full-mouth reconstruction lets us develop a single treatment plan to address all of the issues you have in the most efficient way so that we can get your smile working again quickly.
Any restorative dental treatments we offer may be considered. There are even some cosmetic treatments (dental veneers, orthodontics) that can be used to make sure you and your smile get all the help you need.
Dental implants can change your smile
My mouth was a mess and I had a lot of teeth missing, and the front teeth were starting to wear down and get shorter as time went on. I had trouble eating where it took me a lot longer to chew and get things down to where you could swallow them, pain when you chew on certain—in certain areas at times, and then a lot of missing teeth that it just made it hard to eat. When you smiled and stuff, you could see that things weren't how they should be. I had a lot of implants done, a couple of bridges type thing, but mostly the implants which they did the basic surgery in five hours, approximately. That part was over. The rest of it, after the bone healed and everything, it was real easy and simple.
That first part where you would have more anxiety about it and stuff, it was over in a day, you know. I can eat the foods I love again. Anything that needed a lot of chewing type thing, I can do that. Whereas before, it took so long. Everybody at the table was finished eating long before I was, so it's just worked out really well. I'm not embarrassed to have pictures taken and it's just made a difference. Anytime you feel like you look better, you feel better.
Dental implants are the premier tooth replacement option as they are able to mimic the function of your natural teeth more closely than any other option. You get the stability they provide, which is second to none; the bone protection that keeps your jawbone safe from deterioration; and an unrivaled longevity – which conceivably could be the rest of your life. When you add up all of the benefits, there really is no other option that comes close to giving you what dental implants can give you.
What is all on four dental implants?
The All-on-4® dental implant technique is where we place four dental implants in your jawbone to support a fixed full-arch restoration. Your smile is made up of 28 teeth (not counting wisdom teeth), and All-on-4 means you can get a whole smile’s worth of teeth with only four dental implants instead of 28 dental implants. This means less surgery, less healing time, and less time before you can show off your new smile.
Your same-day smile
At Brar Dentistry, we are able to give you a new smile in a single visit. With our CEREC crown technology, we can give you a dental restoration the same day you come into the office. We often suggest that you wait until the following day to get your crown placed. This is due to the swelling in the gums following the placement of your dental implants. It makes for a more comfortable experience, and the healing goes more smoothly by simply waiting about 24 hours to do the restoration placement.
No more missing teeth
Dentures give you a full arch of replacement teeth with one single dental restoration. In the past, people may have had to deal with messy adhesives to secure their dentures, but at our office, we now have dental implant options that hold your dentures securely inside your mouth. That means you can replace a large number of missing teeth that will never fall out.
